Giving Back: Protecting the Wild Beauty That Inspires Us

The natural world has always been my greatest muse — the mountains, rivers, forests, and coastlines that bring peace, calm, and quiet joy to our hearts.
For me, and for so many of you, these wild and beautiful places aren’t just scenery, they’re a source of renewal and inspiration woven into our everyday lives.

It’s only natural that I would want to give something back.

As a small, solo artisan, I’ve long dreamed of finding a meaningful way to help protect the kind of places that inspire my jewelry, places where nature still feels alive and untamed. I wanted to partner with another small organization whose heart beats for the same cause.

That’s when I discovered Rally AK, and through them, the remarkable nonprofit Save AK Spots (SAS). Whether they found me or I found them, it felt meant to be.

I’m thrilled to share that Pure Whimsy Jewelry now donates a portion of direct sales each quarter to Save AK Spots (SAS), a small, Alaska-based nonprofit doing big things for the planet.

SAS is on a mission to preserve Alaska’s wild beauty by focusing on real, tangible solutions to one of the most visible threats to the environment: trash pollution. Their work helps clean and protect Alaska’s rivers, lakes, lands, and coastal areas, ensuring they remain pure for generations to come.

But SAS’s mission goes beyond cleanup. They also invest in youth outreach programs, teaching Alaska’s next generation the importance of caring for their land and waters. It’s a beautiful reminder that preserving the future starts with inspiring those who will inherit it.
