The Pure Whimsy Difference

These are "glass-on-metal" art. I use the ancient technique of Cloisonné with a twist, hand-shaping fine silvr wires, even overlapping them to create the poppy petals. I then add layers of vitreous enamel( powdered glass) and fire them in my kiln at 1,500°F. Because I work in very small batches, these earrings are part of a limited run and each pair is unique. This process fuses the glass to the silver forever, creating a luminous, jewel-like finish that catches the light in a way that resins simply can't.
